Blue Reef Aquarium

Blue Reef Aquaruim is located at Towan Beach, Newquay in the centre of town and has many local and marine fish on display along with a variety of other sea and freshwater creatures including octopus and mini crocodiles. Dragon Archery

Dragon Archery is set in the heart of the Devon countryside in a picturesque setting overlooking Dartmoor. FlowRider The latest in board sports and the first in the UK! The FlowRider® is a truly unique activity and a very memorable one. FlowRiding® is sure to keep the kids happy and adults can either jump on as well or enjoy a drink on our sun decks overlooking the FlowRider®.

The FlowRider® at The Loop opened in April 2010 as the first in the UK. Having just held the UKs First Pro Surfer FlowRider® Championships, The Loop has proved to be a great location for parties, group sessions or for individuals wanting to have an incredible experience in a buzzing environment. With music, great food, sun decks, bar and even soft play areas.

"Flowboarding was started by surfers, but the new sport we have developed takes in aspects of all the board sports. Flowboarding is skateboarding without the wheels (and the road rash), surfing without a fin, snowboarding without the mountain, wakeboarding without the boat and skimboarding without the sand". This adrenaline packed activity is great for all the family, whether you’re a pro or a complete novice. Our fully trained instructors will start you on the body board and before long you can attempt the Flow Board. Book in hour long sessions and why not make the most of it and grab a bite from our Loop Restaurant (opening 5th July 2010).

Dairyland Farmworld

Dairyland Farm World has been a favourite with families for over 30 years. Dairyland Farmworld is a working dairy farm with plenty of play areas such as the ‘Bull Pen', a huge undercover play area with climbing nets and ball pools. There is a Heritage Centre, a Tractor House & Smithy, a Milking Parlour with 120 cows and a Nature Trail through the valley with woodlands and lakes. Lappa Valley Steam Railway

Lappa Valley Steam Railway The narrow gauge Lappa Valley Steam Railway at St Newlyn East, near Newquay runs on part of a railway trackbed originally opened as a mineral line between Newquay and East Wheal Rose in the mid-19th century. Later on, the line became part of a Great Western branch line which closed in the early 1960's but part of the track was reopened as a narrow gauge steam railway in 1974. Screech Owl Centre

The Screech Owl Centre provides care and rehabilitation for wild sick and injured owls within Cornwall, and where possible ensures their safe release back to the wild when they are fully recovered, and if permanently disabled a comfortable home shall be provided in a suitable environment. You will also find Alpacas, Meerkats, Emus and other animals at the sanctuary along with a childrens play area and tea rooms. There are opportunities to meet the owls and they also have falconry displays and guided tours.
